About the Curator

Hey! I’m Sam Asplen, the proud curator of Creatiview. I have always harboured a passion for the arts. Though, before breaking into the industry, I was never certain how this raw interest might manifest into a career, let alone what would be involved day to day.

Like many, I fell into my profession, specifically motion & graphic design and later grew to love it. Consequently, I’ve always enjoyed monitoring creative blogs and following other artists work and careers. More than anything, this serves to keep me inspired and driven.

Creatiview is a home for peoples stories. It strives to focus on the individuals behind the work, with the visuals acting as the icing on the cake. Because behind all our creative output, is an often long, meandering journey that often goes unshared. I believe that unfortunately, most of us aren’t blessed with an enlightened master plan. Instead, our process tells a twisting tale of lessons learned because ultimately, we are all just making it up as we go along.
